Although technically an international-style restaurant, Mannerheim, which takes its name from the famous baron, certainly has a lot of Estonian inspiration when it comes to cuisine. Under the watchful eyes of celebrated chef de cuisine Rudolf Visnapuu, timeless classics are transformed or recreated using only the best local ingredients. The interior of the restaurant follows the theme of Baron Mannerheim's life: the chair covers wear his different decorations and medals, imposing map of his travel routes hangs on the wall and his favourite dish Vorschmak is available to try along with the famous Marshal's schnapps - well known drink composed by the great man himself.

  If you've always wondered what a feast from the Middle Ages was really like, then you won't get any closer than a meal at the “Olde Hansa”.Wooden benches are laid out with boar skin covers, flickering candles provide atmospheric lighting and a troop of string-plucking musicians round off the ambiance in style. As for the food; the recipes and ingredients have been meticulously researched so that your dinner tastes exactly the same as in times yore - even the cooking methods have been copied! Throw in a few buxom wenches in silly costumes and you've got a banqueting experience more medieval than Sir Lancelot's codpiece.Light and very warm pashmina type blankets were provided for the cool evenings when seated outdoors.

" Balthasar"

"Balthasar" - the first Estonian garlic restaurant was opened in 1999, in a medieval building of the Town-Hall Apothecary and is situated in the very heart of Tallinn`s Old Town - the Town -Hall Square. A magnificent view opens from the restaurant`s windows on the Town-Hall Square. The restaurant has a noble aristocratic atmosphere, which is especially stressed by the grand wooden interior and the successfully completed restoration of the building.
